This study examines longitudinal pathways and latent transitions from caregiver intimate partner violence exposure to mental health and substance use outcomes among youth involved in the child welfare system. Using latent transition analysis, the authors identify how patterns of exposure shape developmental trajectories of risk, highlighting the needs of youth who often remain unseen in the system.
